DAILY THOUGHTS 29th October – 4th November 2007

Here is today's Daily Thought 29th October 2007

Verse: 2 Chronicles 6:14

O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like You in all of heaven and earth. You are the God who keeps His promises to all those who obey You and who are anxious to do Your will.

- God is a God who keeps His promises.

- There is no one like our God.

- He is looking for those who obey Him and want to do His will.

- As we do what God tells us to do, He will make a way!

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You are a God who keeps His promises. What You say You will do You have every intention of doing! I will trust in You! Amen.

Have a wonderful week.

Here is today's Daily Thought 30th October 2007

Verse: Deuteronomy 4:39

So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other god!

- God is God!

- We must remind ourselves of this great fact.

- There is no margin of error or confusion.

- We can stand firmly on this fact and believe it!

PRAYER: Lord, I recognise the truth that You are God and You are the only God. I will constantly remind myself of this great and wonderful fact! Amen.

Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Here is today's Daily Thought 31st October 2007

Verse: Isaiah 26:3

You (God) will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, whose thoughts are fixed on You!

- God is our source of peace.

- We can know real peace as we trust in God.

- When we look to other things for our peace we will be disappointed.

- Be fixed and determined to trust God!

PRAYER: Lord, I place my complete trust in You. I will not look to other things for my peace, BUT I will keep my eyes on You. Amen.

Have a great Wednesday.

Here is today's Daily Thought 1st November 2007

Verse: Psalm 29:11

He will give His people strength. He will bless them with peace.

- Today, God's strength is available to you.

- But God wants to do even more than that.

- God wants to bless you.

- He wants to give you His peace - a valuable commodity.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray that You will come and strengthen me. I need Your strength and the blessing of peace that You said could be mine as a gift. Amen.

Have a great Thursday.

Here is today's Daily Thought 2nd November 2007

Verse: Psalm 48:14

God is OUR God forever and ever; He will be OUR guide even until death.

- God will never desert us.

- God is with us each day and forever.

- There is not a moment that you cannot call on Him.

- He wants to be YOUR God and YOUR guide.

PRAYER: Lord, I want You to be my God today. I need You in my life and I need You to be my guide. Amen.

May God bless you.

Here is today's Daily Thought 3rd November 2007

Verse: James 1:2-4

Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

- Trials and difficulties are part of life.

- BUT God can use those things to work in our lives.

- God's plan is that we would mature, be complete and lack nothing.

- Let God do what He wants to do in your heart and life.

PRAYER: Lord, I embrace the work that You are doing in my life. You know best and it is for this reason that I can trust You with my future. Amen.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Here is today’s Daily Thought 4th November 2007

Verse: Isaiah 41:18

I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

- God is the God of the impossible.

- You may be in a valley or a wilderness.

- Even in your wilderness God can make pools of water.

- Let expectation be alive in your heart.

PRAYER: Lord, You know the challenges I face. I pray that You will bring life into those barren and dry areas. Amen.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Meditation for the week

All shall be Amen and Alleluia.

We shall rest and we shall see,

We shall see and we shall know,

We shall know and we shall love,

We shall love and we shall praise.

Behold our end which is no end.
